One of those bloggy mom things

I've recently gotten into this ExpoTV thing where I make video reviews about products I use and upload them for others to view.

It's not like I don't have enough to do around here anyway, right? But this is just too appealing to my cheap-skate senses.

There is a small amount of earnable potential for making videos but it really isn't all that much. It's the free products that I'm finding worthy my valuable time.

I said free products. Not just little trial sizes either, but, like, a 100 oz bottle of Gain, new lotions, complete lines of hair products, a baby sign language kit, etc... The only requirement on my part is to make a short video on my opinion of it and upload it to the ExpoTV website.

I know. Do we blogging moms really need another task on our desks to complete? That's up to you to decide. For me, I have found that it takes very little time on my part and I get to keep all the stuff they send me. That's a good thing!

Another Trix Swirls Giveaway!

When I was a kid Trix was the only sugary cereal my mom would buy. About once a month my brother, sister, and I would be delighted when we saw the box sitting on the cereal shelf. It was special and the cereal never lasted all that long.
Today is no different. I still love Trix, though we rarely have it in the house. Imagine my delight at being offered a Trix gift package for my family and a second one to give away to one lucky reader! What great childhood memories that brought back!
Trix Swirls are similar to regular Trix only instead of each piece being one color, each piece is a swirl of two Trix colors.

She loves to doodle and found it very cool that she could color with colored pencils, then go over the color with a wet paintbrush and watch the colors turn into a water color paint. She's created some very cool art with these. The other kids loved the water colors paints and got busy painting me some pretty pictures.

I've just decided something

I've just decided to go ahead and just post over on the new blog for now. I'll be keeping this blog for reviews, giveaways, and stuff but won't be posting our general family info here anymore. I've been blogging daily over at We Are Culbertsons and I really like Wordpress - although I'm having a little trouble working with my new theme. I'll get it figured out.

So, stay tuned here for our next giveaway but make sure you bookmark the new blog if you are interested in seeing what's up with the family and other general life posts.

Movin' on over

We're in the slow process of moving our blog over to our newly hosted website. We've had the Our Blessed Arrows website for years now but our unhelpful host, who tried to illegally hold on to my site by locking it down, has been fired. Our new host, Godaddy, has been terrific and I've actually been able to install my own blog actually on the Our Blessed Arrows website instead of being forced to use a Blogger blog (not a fan of Google). I've wanted to do this almost since starting this blog!

We're starting the slow process of moving posts from here to there. Right now I'll be posting in both places, here and there.

And if you have any experience with Wordpress let me know. I am having trouble figure out the code. I'll get it, it's just taking more time than I'd like.
